Disney Christmas Tree Character List at Grand Floridian Gingerbread House 25th Anniversary. For the 25 years now guests visiting Walt Disney World Resorts during the Holidays could head over to the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, located right outside Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and see a life-sized Gingerbread House. You could also purchase holiday snacks and treats, including a gingerbread shingle that is used for making this unusually large sugar delectable.
The Gingerbread house is kind of not the best way of describing Disney’s culinary teams’ creation, it is more like a piece of food art, mixed in with a store. Every year it seems like the team that creates this edible house of dreams outdo themselves with the creativity. The house has over 25 hidden Mickey heads to find (hint: look for the silver Mickey Heads), along with a plethora of other callbacks and easter eggs. The Gingerbread House address is 1999, the first year Disney created the Gingerbread store.
This year the Culinary team came up with a brilliant addition of Disney Characters as Christmas Trees, and we have a list of all the ones we have spotted. It looks like there will be 25 Disney Character Trees to spot.
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse (There is a second Minnie Mouse with what looks like her dress from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party)
- Goofy
- Pluto
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Chip
- Dale

- We are missing one! We have to be. It has to equal 25, that only makes sense. (Help Us!)
There are many other decorated Christmas trees around the whole display with various shapes and sizes.
This year, we’re celebrating 25 sweet years of the beloved Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Starting November 6, the iconic house that smells as good as it looks will be available for guests to bask in the holiday festivities. As you explore the various details of this incredible display, you’ll find white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa. The gingerbread itself is baked with 1050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of confectioners’ sugar.
The decorations feature 700 pounds of chocolate and over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread – yes, you heard that right. The team spends over 500 hours baking the gingerbread and 480 hours bringing all the dazzling details to life. To celebrate the 25 years of holiday tradition, there are 25 hidden Mickeys scattered throughout. See how many you can find!
There will also be a limited-edition collection of 25th anniversary merchandise including a pin, ornament, cookie jar, magnet, tumbler, t-shirt, and more available for purchase to commemorate your holiday memories.
