Disney Halloween Golf Cart Parade at Fort Wilderness 2024 Images & Video. October 30th, 2024, Walt Disney World, The Campsite at Fort Wilderness, on Fort Wilderness Trail, between Meadow Depot and Settlement Depot was the place to be to witness some wonderful creativity in the spirit of Halloween with decorated Golf Carts.
Fort Wilderness celebrates Halloween with special events for a few days surrounding Halloween for guests staying at the resort and campground. Including a Beach Bash, Pumpkin Carving contest, rare character appearances, a golf cart parade, and fireworks viewing, capped off with trick-or-treating on Halloween. Oh and a special guest, The Headless Horseman.
We have to give the guests who decorated golf carts a nod of appreciation because some of these were outright amazing. The amount of creativity on display was fantastic. This was our first year ever seeing the Golf Cart Halloween Parade at Fort Wilderness, and we can honestly say this will become a family tradition as long as we live here.
We spent a few minutes at Tri Circle D Ranch before the parade and got to see some of the horses being cleaned up, and their horse manes being braided with ribbons. At the time we saw this, we didn’t know they were going to be leading the parade itself. We recommend getting the most out of this event every year by getting to Fort Wilderness early, checking out the ranch, having dinner at Trails End, or Hoop-Dee-Do, and then spending the evening enjoying the Halloween Party.
Below you can see images we took and a video of the full parade.
Pandora Flight of Passage from the World of Avatar was great to see. The monorail had the saying we are all used to playing while it passed “Please Stand Clear of the Doors…”. Minions went bananas.
Ooogie Boogie and Zero from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Wall-E, and Woody’s Roundup with Jessie and Bullseye, the Prospector was inside.
Capt America on a tank, and a boat from Jungle Cruise.
Aladdin and Magic Carpet with the gang, including a good floof 10/10

The Halloween Party featured dancing, pumpkins, and photo ops, and Chip & Dale showed up in their cop and robber costumes. Thanks to our friend for sharing a photo of the characters, we missed taking images.
