Disney’s Contemporary Resort Offers Thanksgiving Tradition at Steakhouse 71. Missing home on Thanksgiving can be tough. No family traditions, no football, and no idea what to eat? Well, let us start alleviating some of those concerns. Firstly, you are at Walt Disney World, look around you! See all those giant Christmas trees and holiday decor, Magical right? Smell that gingerbread scent in the air? Trust us, Disney World during Thanksgiving is amazing, and who knows, maybe even your new family tradition. But, what about food?
On Thanksgiving, or actually any day of the week if you go to Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, you can get a full Thanksgiving Meal that you may be used to. No need to lament the fact that your family will not be feasting on turkey with all the trimmings. Disney World restaurants are starting to announce their menus for the 2024 holiday season, and some are even going to change the menu on Thanksgiving itself.
Steakhouse 71 in Disney’s Contemporary Resort has started taking reservations for the holiday and while breakfast will remain the same, Lunch and Dinner will be a Thanksgiving meal. Menu offerings will be modified on Thanksgiving Day—Thursday, November 28, 2024. Selections from the breakfast menu will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Select items from the dinner menu and some holiday-inspired dishes will be served from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM. The regular lunch menu will not be available.
A Thanksgiving Feast
Celebrate the season with a delicious meal on Thanksgiving Day—Thursday, November 28, 2024!
Selections from the breakfast menu will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Select items from the dinner menu and some holiday-inspired dishes will be available from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
Special holiday menu items will include:
- Turkey Dinner
- Butternut Squash Soup
- Pumpkin Cake Cheesecake
Steakhouse 71 will not offer the regular lunch menu on Thanksgiving Day.
Reservations
Advance reservations are highly recommended. Guests can make advance dining reservations online or via the My Disney Experience App. Same-day reservations can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability.
Keep in mind, upon your arrival, all members of your party must be present before seating, and hosts must bring your entire party to the table at one time.
Cancellations and Modifications
This restaurant has a cancellation policy and a modification policy. The credit card provided at the time of reservation will automatically be charged a per-person fee if you don’t show up for your reservation or fail to cancel in accordance with the policy, or if you fail to modify in accordance with the policy and then need to cancel.
