Did Disney Announce The Simpson’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster During the Series Finale? Covering Disney Parks is fun, and sometimes we get to cover Disney Entertainment and TV shows. It is even rare for us to cover Disney Parks and TV crossovers and have fun writing about a what-if…!

Like last night’s Series Finale of The Simpsons. Which is actually the 36th Season Premier, airing on Fox and the next day on Hulu. Where none other than Conan O’Brien announced a brand new (deep breath) Homer Simpson’s Claim-Jumping Yukon-Rumbling Rock-n-Roller Coaster, coming to Disneyland Shanghai in 2026! Or did The Simpsons just predict the future again?

There are many things wrong with this whole article, and we will flush down the toilet a few of those wrong things. So, let us make a list. First, that could not be a worse clickbait title. Secondly, The Simpsons Series Finale aired as the Season Premier of Season 36. (This is not the end of The Simpsons). Third, I believe Universal holds the rights to the use of The Simpsons inside of Theme Parks until the year 2028, so claiming the new roller coaster would open in 2026 is another falsity. I do not know about using The Simpsons in international parks.

Why this type of article works, and what we figured would be okay to bring this up is the fact that people have been wanting a retheme to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith for years now! Especially the last 2 years, when the ride went down for extended refurbishment two separate times. We have heard everyone speculate on how it could be rethemed and what artist would be a great fit.

Our personal favorite has been The Muppets Mayhem version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but people have also thrown out the idea of Kiss, Metallica, Foo Fighters, and a lot of talk about Queen. The one that gets the biggest reaction from fans online though is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Powerline! Just imagine Goofy telling everyone he is gonna drive everyone to go see Max, Get in the limo now.

This brings us back to whether this could be another The Simpsons premonition. I mean they have done a dang good job of predicting the future. Just go read The Hollywood Reporter article about 34 Times the Fox Comedy Successfully Predicted the Future. Personally, I gotta say a The Simpsons Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster would be a perfect fit here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we still don’t know where the new Monsters Inc. Coaster is going, so back to the guessing games.
