Disney Epic Mickey Now Available Check Out Some Fun Facts from D23. Disney and THQ Nordic surprised viewers with the announcement of “Epic Mickey: Rebrushed” during the Nintendo Direct back in April. This is a remake of the 2010 Wii-exclusive Disney game that featured the coolest peripheral of all time, a controller Paint Brush. “Epic Mickey: Rebrushed” will bring nostalgia to fans of the original game and introduce new players to the series with updated graphics and new skills.

We got a chance to play the Demo, which you can also do before you purchase, at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event back in August. The graphics looked so much better, the gameplay was fun, and it was a nostalgic trip. The only thing missing was the paintbrush wiimote! Now the game is available to purchase and play, along with some limited edition versions which you can find at game developer THQNordic.

D23 just dropped some fun facts about the game:

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, the remake of the beloved classic, is here! The highly anticipated game is now available on Nintendo® Switch, PS4™, PS5™, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game follows Mickey Mouse’s adventure through the dangerous world of Wasteland, a realm where forgotten Disney characters reside. Use his magical paintbrush to restore the world around him or use paint and thinner to reshape the environment and uncover hidden secrets.

To celebrate the release, we’ve rounded up some fun facts about Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

For the first time, players on any platform can enjoy Mickey’s adventure through Wasteland. The original Epic Mickey was released as a Nintendo exclusive, while the remake will also be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The reworked camera gives you more control over how you view Wasteland – it’s easier than ever to survey your surroundings and find hidden secrets.

New Gameplay Features
Whether this is your first platforming experience or you’re a seasoned speedrunner, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed’s wondrous world full of secrets and optional challenges has something for you.
