Walt Disney World List of Cancelled Events and Closures – Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Added to List. Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect here in Central Florida for today 9/25 and 9/26 as Hurricane Helena approaches off the Gulf Coast. We are keeping a close eye on the weather and trying to bring you updates as soon as we get them.
So far Typhoon Lagoon, mini Golf at Disney World, and some tours have been canceled, but in an abundance of caution, Walt Disney World just announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled for Thursday night 9/26.

We are always looking to deliver a great and enjoyable experience for our guests. Due to forecasted weather and the impact on our outdoor entertainment offerings, we are canceling Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 26. Guest tickets will be refunded. While Magic Kingdom was scheduled to close tomorrow at 6 p.m., we are extending operating hours until 8 p.m. for guests to enjoy more time in the park.”
This joins the news of additional closures of Disney’s Mini Golf and Typhoon Lagoon closed for Thursday, Sept. 26th.

Walt Disney World Water Parks
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26 (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season).
Beachcomber Shack (cabanas) and Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella rentals are cancelled for Thursday, September 26.
Tours & Enchanting Extras Collection
The following tours and Enchanting Extras Collection experiences are cancelled for Thursday, September 26:
- Savour the Savanna
- Up Close with Rhinos
- Walking with Giants
- Wild Africa Trek
Miniature Golf
Miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World Resort are temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26. These include:
- Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf
Pools at Disney Resort Hotels
Pools at Disney Resort hotels will continue to operate or close under normal conditions.
