Walt Disney World Resort is one of the safest places to be when a major storm impacts the area, you will hear from locals that when there is a Hurricane Warning issued or the authorities tell you to evacuate they will book rooms at a Disney Resort. So our first tip we have, if you are down here now is to Stay Calm. You are in good hands. Our biggest concerns here in the Disney World and Universal area are Flooding and Tornado Warnings.
Things you can do while on vacation: Stay Calm, Make sure electronics and phones are charged, bottled water, and stay informed. Walt Disney World has a website that will keep you updated.
