Holiday Decorations Arrive at Epcot World Showcase Before Start of Festival of the Holidays 2024. The 2024 Epcot Festival of the Holidays may not start until November 29th, but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel the festive spirit when you go to the Park. World Showcase has been fully decorated before this year’s festivities.
Walt Disney World is ready to bring holiday cheer to you and your family when visiting the resort this year. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties are ongoing, Jollywood Nights have started, Disney Springs has the Christmas Tree Stroll, Gingerbread Houses, and Carousels as well as Holiday decorations can be seen at various resorts, and of course, Santa Claus is meeting and greeting at all four Parks plus Springs.
The last of the four Parks here at Disney World to get the holiday makeover is Epcot, and now the majority of the Park is decorated. The massive Christmas Tree is now up and greeting guests at the entrance to the World Showcase. Each pavilion is decorated and highlights that country’s unique holiday tradition. Furthermore, the only decorations we found in the front of the Park were at the Creation Shop which received the makeover after Halloween ended.
Festival of the Holidays officially kicks off on November 29th, guests can look forward to a variety of holiday-themed entertainment, including the Candlelight Processional, holiday storytellers, and festive music. You can read all about the new treats, cookies, food, and drinks coming this year.
