Santa Sully Popcorn Bucket Surprise Release at Walt Disney World. Come for the Popcorn buckets, stay for the news. That should be our new motto, especially this time of year when Disney releases their Holiday 2024 Popcorn Buckets, Sippers, and Novelty Items. Disneyland normally gets all the good ones and we here at Walt Disney World get a little jealous of those living on the West Coast. But, today, Disney surprised all of us by quietly starting to sell the Sully Santa Bucket at Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has become festive for the holidays this year. Today alone we got to see three different bands doing routines around Echo Lake, we saw Donald Duck perform with the Juggling Elves, and Max Goof perform with the Holiday Spirits band. Then watched a band marching down Commissary lane, met Daisy Duck in her holiday best, hung with Chip & Dale, and finished the day with For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration holiday version, then picked up our Santa Sully.

The popcorn bucket is $27.25 and is available at most popcorn stands around Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We found the first two stands you come to, which are located next to the Hollywood Brown Derby in the Chinese Theater Courtyard, close to the Hollywood Studios Sign. The Santa Sully popcorn bucket it also available in the Pixar Place Cookie and popcorn stand.
Previously we had written about the possibility of Sully coming to Disney World and the only place he would be sold if he came here would be at Hollywood Studios. From our article on November 5th, 2024: “Our best guess is the Santa Sulley Bucket may come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It looks almost like the one sold during Pixar Fest last year on the West Coast.”
So far, for the Holiday Popcorn Buckets that have shown up at Walt Disney World there is Mickey Elf, and Sully, along with the general holiday bucket sold this time of year. I am going to go out on a limb and say the viral Disney Mickey & Minnie Gingerbread House Popcorn Bucket that is only at Disneyland will show up during Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays 2024. If not that one, then the Mickey Toy Soldier Drummer. Either way, we are not done with the Holiday popcorn bucket releases here at Disney World.
The Disney World Holidays continue until the first week in january.
