New Disney’s Moana 2 Commercial and Poster Released—The movie is Coming to Theaters on November 27. After stealing the spotlight at D23, The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Entertainment Spotlight, with a surprise appearance by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, doing a hula, and showing a full trailer, it has been quiet since then. But that quiet time has ended as we approach the theatrical release on November 27th, 2024.
This means the train is on the tracks and the engine is running, now it is time to hang on for a fun ride! The stars of the movie should start appearing on talk shows and doing interviews, and the Disney train knows how to get one of the most anticipated sequels in front of the audience. Merchandise released has already been announced, and tickets go on sale soon.
Not to go off-topic, but we are more than just Disney fans we are also WWE wrestling fans. Our biggest question is can The Rock (The Final Boss version) still play a heel while trying to promote a Disney Animated film? Dwayne Johnson’s wrestling persona The Rock is the ultimate bad guy who hasn’t been seen since the night after Wrestlemania last April and showed up this past Saturday in Atlanta, GA, during WWE’s Bad Blood show, still being the heel. How can he explain away Maui in Moana 2 and be The Final Boss in WWE? I will tell you how, he is a great actor and person!
Walt Disney Animation Studios has just released a brand new TV spot, and new poster.
A new TV spot offers a sneak peek at Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana 2,” including a new song, “We’re Back,” from the film. The epic animated musical, which opens in theaters on Nov. 27, 2024, reunites Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) and Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. A new poster is also available.
The voice cast also features returning stars Rachel House (Gramma Tala), Temuera Morrison (Chief Tui), and Nicole Scherzinger (Sina), as well as Hualālai Chung, David Fane, and Rose Matafeo as Moana’s new crew members Moni, Kele and Loto, respectively. Awhimai Fraser voices the mysterious new character Matangi; Gerald Ramsey plays Moana’s ancestor, Tautai Vasa; and Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda lends her voice to Moana’s adoring and adorable little sister, Simea.
