Moonlight Magic Returns: More Dates Added for DVC Members in 2024 and 2025. Last April 23rd, 2024, I had the privilege of joining Disney Vacation Club members at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Moonlight Magic. This free event for members is an after-hours event held all throughout the year at one of three Parks and one water park here at Disney World. Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Typhoon Lagoon.
On the evening I went, which you can watch our video below, I got a chance to meet some very rare characters with minimum lines, rode Flight of Passage with no wait times, ate my weight in Mickey Bars, enjoyed the Tree of Life vibrant show, and spent one of the best spring evenings of my life at a Disney Parks.
Now, Disney Vacation Club has just announced the 2025 dates for Disney World and a night in Disney’s California Adventure. But that’s not all! Now I feel like a salesman, But Wait! There’s More! (insert music) DVC has also announced 3 extra dates at Animal Kingdom for 2024! The best part of the 2024 announcement is these nights are open for registration even if you have already gone to another after-hours this year!

Moonlight Magic Returns in 2025!
Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic events—a favorite Membership Magic benefit—are back! Experience a night full of excitement at these complimentary events offering exclusive after-hours access. Enjoy select new and classic attractions, shorter-than-usual wait times, Character greetings, entertainment and delectable delights!
Plus, new Moonlight Magic event dates have been added for 2024 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park on October 24, November 21 and December 10. Eligible Members may register for one of these extra event dates even if they attended a Moonlight Magic event in 2024. See event and registration details below.
What Is Moonlight Magic?
During a Moonlight Magic event, eligible Members can visit a select theme park for a special celebration after the park has closed to the public! Enjoy an evening of enchantment, entertainment and so much more as the park becomes your playground.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Event Dates: October 24, 2024, November 21, 2024, December 10, 2024, and February 12, 2025
Early Registration Window – Opens September 19, 2024
The early registration window for the October 24, November 21 and December 10 events is open to eligible Members with qualifying Resort reservations*. See the “Know Before You Register” section for more information. All Resort reservations and modifications—including changing your party size—must be completed by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on September 15, 2024. Modifications to your Resort reservation party size after September 15, 2024, will not increase your party size for the event.
