Disney Legend & Retired Imagineer Joe Rohde Will Speak in Central Florida to Raise Funds and Awareness for Snow Leopard Expedition. If you ever wanted to sit and see Joe Rodhe in person and listen to him speak, here is a very rare opportunity, as the Disney Legend will be close to the Walt Disney World Resort area in an engagement at UCF on October 5th, 2024.
Mr. Rohde was just inducted into The Walt Disney Company version of a hall of fame called the Disney Legend Award for his overall works, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, Pleasure Island, Captain EO, Norway and Mexico pavilions in Epcot, amongst many other major accomplishments in the Walt Disney Imagineering world. Let’s not forget his lead role in Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaiสปi.
Mr Rohde will be raising funds to support his scientific partners and fellow members of The Explorers Club. Check out his post below. Mr. Rohde is putting together an expedition with the Pangje (meaning Snow Leopard in Nepalese slang) Foundation. His 2015 Film “The Leopard in the Land” will be shown, followed by a discussion on art, expeditions, and creativity. With a Q/A session.
If you are in the Orlando area or are very ambitious and live anywhere on the East Coast. I am going to be speaking at UCF to raise money for my snow leopard expedition. I am raising funds to support my scientific partners and fellow members of The Explorers Club. We are conducting a collaborative art, science, and culture project that integrates our various fields of study.

Iโll show my documentary film from 2015,ย The Leopard in the Land,ย ย and follow with a presentation on art, creativity, and exploration. Followed by Q and A. Each ticket holder will receive a small signed print of a painting I made on the 2015 Mongolia expedition.
Tickets are $100 each; all of the proceeds will go to fund the 2025 Nepal expedition.
