Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom Sets Refurbishment Dates – Removed from Holiday Party Ride Lists. Chart a course for high adventure on a scenic and comedic boat tour of exotic rivers across Asia, Africa, and South America. This Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom opening day attraction is a beloved classic and always demands a line. With some of the best ‘Dad’ jokes around, we always enjoy a ride down the jungle.
Edit: We now have the actual closure dates. August 26th, 2024 – October 18th, 2024 which makes this a rather longer refurbishment than we originally thought. The Attraction has been removed from the available attractions from both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and also Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
According to the Walt Disney World Website “Beginning August 26, 2024, Jungle Cruise will temporarily close for refurbishment. The attraction is scheduled to reopen for Guests before the winter holidays begin at Walt Disney World.” When you go through the daily calendar the next day times are available are October 18th, 2024.
Them being removed from the Parties’ list of available-to-ride attractions is not new, normally when an attraction or ride is going down and is removed internally, it is reflected in the party list also. This just makes it harder for us to figure out how long Jungle Cruise will be down for the refurbishment.
