CommuniCore Hall is Closed to Guests Until the Start of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival presented by Corkcicle starts on August 29th, 2024. CommuniCore Hall is now closed to guests until the opening of Food & Wine on August 29th, 2024. The Global Kitchen ‘Macantizers’ will be installed in the kitchen area. You can see the full menu of the new kitchen below. Nothing else is affected in the CommuniCore Plaza and Hall area. Mickey & Friends Meet and Greet will still be open, and ¡Celebración Encanto! will still do daily shows.
The newest space to open at Epcot, CumminiCore Hall, has seen its fair share of complaints and negative feedback with guests saying it is like entering a school cafeteria or an airport lounge. But, when it was first opened, Disney Parks had said the space would be used during festivals and be a great space for guests to sit and relax plus see food demonstrations while enjoying some much-needed air conditioning.
