ABOUT “DREAM PRODUCTIONS”
Taking place in between the events of “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2,” “Dream Productions” is an all-new series about the studio inside Riley’s mind where dreams really do come true—every night, on time and on budget. Riley is growing up and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions.
Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell) faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams. Also featuring the voices of Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith, the hilarious, mockumentary-style series is written and directed by Mike Jones and produced by Jaclyn Simon.
ABOUT “WIN OR LOSE”
“Win or Lose” reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters in the week leading up to the big game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives. Featuring the voice of Will Forte as the coach, “Win or Lose” is directed, written and executive produced by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced David Lally.
The audience did get an amazing look behind the scenes of Inside Out 2, including artistic renderings, how the characters developed between the first and second movie, and a look at easter eggs hidden throughout the movie. Plus we got the best Bloofy backstory! Let’s check out some images before we get into Pixar’s Dream Production
The basic concept of characters, they try to break them down into shapes first. Embarrassment, a big football player type who is trying to hide himself in the background. Anxiety, a frazzled look about her, Envy the small, always wanted to be something else. Anger, hard lines and shape, and of course red. Joy is the center, always full of optimism and reaching out to everyone.

Bloofy’s story is so much more than just a side character! Who doesn’t love Bloofy & Pouchy? Pouchy with his always-at-the-ready dynamite stick. Bloofy with his ever-present, breaks the fourth wall and talks directly to the children watching at home. Except, no one is watching anymore, especially Riley, who locks Bloofy away in her Vault. Jason shared the backstory of Bloofy’s House and the creation of the best new Inside Out character.
At one point Bloofy was almost a kangaroo.
Jason Deamer then went onto share some fantastic easter eggs hidden within Inside Out 2 which makes us want to rewatch the whole movie to see if we can spot them.
Yes, there really is a Pizza Planet truck in the movie, along with a nod to Bing Bong, who Riley doesn’t remember and only Joy does.
When all was said and done, and after the big announcement at the Disney Entertainment Showcase in the Honda Center the night before, Pixar producers said they would be showing a short sneak peek at the upcoming series ‘Dream Production series that will air on Disney+ in 2025. That was the red herring because what they instead announced on stage was that we would get to see the first full episode of the brand-new show!
Obviously, we cannot show the episode, but we can show you a few images from the show. Check them out below.
Sneak peek at the new Intro.
From the world of “Inside Out” comes “Dream Productions,” an all-new Disney+ series about the studio inside Riley’s mind where dreams really do come true—every night, on time and on budget, thanks to acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell). Riley’s growing up and her core Emotions are on the job helping her navigate, but now Paula is facing a nightmare of her own: her signature combination of dreams featuring Rainbow Unicorn and copious amounts of glitter just isn’t working anymore.
To try and save her career, Paula teams up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), an overly confident daydream director looking for his next big break. With differing visions on what makes Riley’s dreams successful, can the reluctant pair come together to create the next big tween-dream hit? Directed by Mike Jones and produced by Jaclyn Simon, Pixar Animation Studios’ hilarious, mockumentary-style series debuts on Disney+ in 2025.
