Magic Kingdom to Increase Dedicated Handicap Parking Spaces

Magic Kingdom to Increase Dedicated Handicap Parking Spaces. Transportation & Ticket Center Parking has always had an overflow area for guests with disabilities located in the Zerg parking lot. That lot is next to the disability lot closest to the tunnel leading to the security, monorail, and ferry area.

In the last 2 days construction crews have repaved the Zerg parking lot at the TTC, and are now repainting and redrawing the parking area. no more angled parking, they will be pull-in and pull-out parking spots with walkways between the vehicles. It looks like the rest of the Zerg parking area will be for overflow, and even that has new parking designs of straight in straight out. All the new spaces are ADA compliant, with enough spaces for Van parking.

Construction equipment that repaved the lot is still located in the TTC Magic Kingdom Parking lot, so look for different areas to be closed off while other lots get repaved. It may be that Disney will be changing all the spots to straight in and out, and no more angled parking in the Disability area.
