First Look Inside the New Country Bear Musical Jamboree and Full Show Video. Set to open on July 17th, 2024, The Country Bear Musical Jamboree has been doing previews over the past week, and we got a chance to witness the new show for ourselves as part of the D23 Gold Mem-bear Gatherin’ – Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom. Of course, we had to get as many photo’s as we could to bring back and report on. We also got the full show, which you can watch in the link below.

Step inside the rustic theater known as Grizzly Hall and take your seat before the lights dim. Clap along as 18 Audio-Animatronics hillbilly bears play and sing during this 16-minute, foot-stompin’ cele-bear-tion. You’ll hear a medley of original and classic tunes—all performed by the zaniest critters in the woods.

Overflowing with humor, heart, and a few surprises, this crowd-pleasing show features a down-home, southern sensibility you and your cubs will love.

The queue itself is filled with tributes to the past and even a few links directly to Walt Disney himself. The bear playing the tuba was one of the last images Walt himself had ever seen, it elicited what Imagineers call “Walt’s Last Laugh”. So the Imagineering team paid homage to Walt with this statue, award.

The rest of the room is filled with bear memorabilia featuring various bears. Big Al has his vest behind glass. If you pay attention to it, he obviously toured the vast world. Until you look close, and all the cities listed are actually located closer to home. Did all make it to Paris, France? Well, no, but he did make it to Paris, Texas.

Of course, there is nods to the original shows that have played Grizzle hall since opening in 1971.

Grizzly Hall has been revamped with better audio, and carpets, along with a new paint job, gold leaf trimmed wood, and just a major revamp of the stage area.

The major improvements are to the animatronics. They look clean, vibrant, and brand new. The major issue we use to have is how loud the motors were in some of the bears and heads along the wall. I can report that Max, Buff, and Marvin, all have been upgraded with newer motors mechanics and run smoothly and quietly.
