Donald Duck Turns 90: A Celebration Fit for a Feathered Frenzy! The Walt Disney Company is quacking loudly in honor of Donald Duck’s 90th anniversary! This iconic character, known for his relatable frustrations and explosive temper, is getting a star-studded celebration throughout the summer.

The campaign will take fans on a journey through Donald’s long and impressive career. From his humble beginnings in 1934’s “The Wise Little Hen” to his current status as a global icon, Donald’s impact on Disney’s storytelling legacy is undeniable.
Fans can expect a wave of new Donald Duck-themed merchandise from popular brands like American Tourister, Casetify, and Loungefly. There will also be new content to enjoy, including:
- Two newly restored classic Donald Duck shorts directed by Disney Legend Jack Hannah: “Crazy Over Daisy” (1950) and “Out on a Limb” (1950), available on Disney+ starting June 9th.
- An all-new hand-drawn animated short, “D.I.Y. Duck,” premiering on Disney+ and other platforms on June 9th. This marks the first Donald Duck-starring short from Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1961!

Disney Resorts around the world are getting into the celebratory spirit:
- Tokyo Disneyland is hosting “Donald’s Quacky Duck City,” featuring decorations, merchandise, food & beverage offerings, and a special parade.
- Hong Kong Disneyland offers limited-time experiences like “Donald’s Birthday Duckling Dance,” special character outfits, themed treats, and a projection show called “Donald’s Quacktastic Surprise!”
