Video: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction Update From the Magic Kingdom. Yesterday Walt Disney Imagineering showed an Instagram reel showing a brand new food delivery truck being installed at at the entrance to the old barn in the queue for the newly rethemed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Furthermore, we can now see more of the garden area in the front, along with the new queue entrance, and the entrance signs for the attraction. Let’s get right into all the newness.
A Celebration of Tiana’s Story: This reimagining of Splash Mountain delves into the world after “The Princess and the Frog.” Guests will join Tiana and her friends for a musical adventure through the bayou.
Focus on Food and Community: The queue will showcase Tiana’s thriving business, Tiana’s Foods, highlighting her success and her commitment to her community.
Enchanted Bayou Ambiance: Expect a lush, immersive experience with music, animatronics, and special effects that bring the bayou to life.
New But Familiar: While it’s a new story, familiar faces like Louis the alligator and likely Naveen the prince will be there, offering a delightful blend of fresh and nostalgic.
Check out the new video from the park of how the attraction is looking now.
Here is an image tour of how everything is looking. We will try and point out all the new things that have happened in the past week.
New Lightning Lane and Regular Queue time boards have been installed. The entrance will be under the Frontierland Train Station. There are also new light poles that have been installed in the area. Disney Imagineers have moved the wall back a little bit, opening the area up.
Some of the queue areas under the train station are being finished up. The rails have been painted to match the rails by the restrooms, and everything in the queue is finishing up.
We just happened to be at the Magic Kingdom for the eclipse so we went to check it out. Unfortunately, you cannot see the truck uncovered, but you can tell it is there. The wheels and front wheel covers are visible from Frontierland Train Station.
Along with the installation of the new food truck, the entrance to the barn now has new signage. ‘Main Entrance’ sign is now visible, and the ‘Tiana’s Food’ marquee is installed.
Recently there has been a ton of news coming out from Disney. We got some of the new critters announced over the past 2 weeks, along with how awesome the new animatronics will look. Yes, they are very very cool looking. We are really looking forward to this retheme opening this summer in Disney World, and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park.
